This is my first attempt at vectoring a person from a photo. I thought it looked pretty good. I usually do a lot of freehand illustration style work in Adobe Illustrator CS. This was done in Illustrator in about 2 hours. I chose this stock because I could actually see the whole head. It wasn't cut off on 3 sides like most of the stock of women. Thats really a shame that people take photographs that way for stock. All these beautiful images, but the top or side of the head is cut off way tooo close. The stock is from :spotlight-left:[link] :spotlight-right:. She has some great stock. Very beautiful dark Asian girl. This is my very first deviation on deviantART as well. Hope you like it! firsti time vectoring -- pretty well. i still haven't tried that out and i am sure i will do worse than you. as well as many other would.

Hey this is good! Vectors can be tricky (I think) when doing realistic object especially people. Just think what you could do in 4 hours.

Thanks for the feedback. I was trying to stay away from perfect. I didn't want it to be photo-realistic. I also didn't want to spend days on it like I see a lot of others do. If it was anything else other than a personal project I would have probably put tons more effort and time into it. I'm going to try to do something else tomorrow. Thank you! :w00t!: :w00t!:
